  Our Sponsored Walk on Thursday 11th June 2015 was a great success! A big thank you to the organisers; everyone who took park and all who were generous enough to to sponsor the children and staff. Please see the 'Kingsbury Charitable Fund' by clicking on the 'Community' tab in the menu. 

• Spanish Week

  Spanish week is well underway at Kingsbury! We are having lots of fun and learning about life in Spain and their language. We started the week of with an an assembly and had visits from a Spanish teacher and a Flamenco dancer and guitarist. The children and staff loved stamping their feet, clapping the hands along to the music. We have lots more planned for the rest of the week - We can't wait! Don't forget to wear red and yellow on Friday to end our week! Hasta Luego! 

• Half Term Break

  We close today for our half term break. The children have worked very hard so far this term and are looking forward to the rest.

• World Book Day

  Yesterday at Kingsbury we celebrated 'World Book Day'. The children and all the adults had to bring in their favourite book from home. Throughout the day the children completed book related activities and some even got the chance to visit a book shop to spend their 'World Book Day' vouchers.

  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at Kingsbury Primary School. 

• Sponsored Climb - Ben Nevis

  Stephen Hennessey; a grandparent of one of our pupils Ewan Boyer climbed Ben Nevis to raise money for our school. 

   

  Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles; the summit is 1,344 metres or 4,408 feet above sea level. 

   

  This is a fantastic achievement and the climb raised a total of £520 for our school. 

   

  A HUGE 'Thank you' to Stephen from everyone at Kingsbury Primary School.

• Cycling at White Ash School

  Some of the children in Orange Frogs visited White Ash School today. 

   

  They had the chance to ride on a variety of bicycles and tricycles. 

   

  It was lots fun and at the same time great exercise.
